Carbide Countersinks |

These solid carbide countersinks are manufactured in two geometric styles. Each style has been designed for use in specific type materials.
When a countersinking operation is to be performed in Kevlar or Fiberglass, the tool requires a special flute design in order that a clean fuzz-free edge may be generated. The other tool style available is designed to be used in materials such as aluminum, titanium and graphite composites.
The tools are manufactured with a standard thread design to be operated in a standard micro-stop cage unit.
Both styles of countersinks are manufactured standard with an integral pilot design; also available on customer request are countersinks with through holes to facilitate a removable pilot.
These solid carbide countersinks have superfinished cutting edges and retain their original sharpness longer than conventional countersinks.
